Indirect IT Procurement Category Manager / Industry-Leading Organisation / FMCG / London / £60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits inc. Bonus

Are you looking to utilize your Indirect IT Procurement Manager experience within an industry-leading organization that provides a great working environment in terms of best-in-class procurement stakeholders, as well as a flexible approach to working? If so, this is the perfect role for you.

This best-in-class organization is seeking an Indirect IT procurement Category Manager to join its team. You will have complete autonomy over the IT procurement category, with some exposure to other indirect categories, and a range of day-to-day responsibilities that drives IT procurement strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

Within this Indirect IT Procurement Category, you will…

  • Provide expert IT Procurement advise and support to the industry-leading technology department in terms of supplier strategy development, sourcing options and commercial models
  • Take lead on development and execution of relevant IT procurement activities; from market analysis to benchmarking and competitive tenders, as well as sourcing a variety of IT procurement sub-categories including software, hardware and networks
  • Undertake excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships with both senior colleagues and high-profile suppliers
  • Continuously work collaboratively with the overall procurement team as well as taking a proactive and dynamic approach dependent on business needs

Indirect IT Procurement Category Manager, requirements…

  • Degree and CIPS would be beneficial
  • Ability to demonstrate past IT Procurement success is essential; ideally with exposure to other generalist procurement categories
  • Excellent skills surrounding communication, organization and presentation
  • Desire to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
