Job Title: Procurement/Commercial Officer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: London or East Kilbride office - can be based at either (Flexible work from home)
Rate: £350 - £450 per day (Outside IR35)
Job Description:
The jobholder will play a supportive role in shaping and managing the categories shaping the ICT commercial and procurement strategy for the FCO as well as building over time an extremely high level of category expertise and procurement capability within the team.
In your role as Commercial Advisor ensure Gender Equality Act compliance and support ambitions on women's economic opportunities, inclusive growth and poverty reduction through your department / team
* MCIPS Qualification or industry relevant equivalent [experience].
* An understanding of category management
* Relevant Commercial/Procurement experience in the public sector and/or complex commercial environment.
* Excellent communication across the range of media.
* Proficient use of Microsoft suite
* Proficient use of e-sourcing platforms
MUST HAVE SC security clearance - must be current and valid
