We are working in partnership with an ambitious defence, engineering business to appoint a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain.
Executive Heads is working in partnership with an ambitious engineering business that works predominantly in the defence industry to appoint a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain.
The business has a strong customer portfolio with a new, driven, and motivated Executive team with an impressive plan to scale over the next three to five years. As a result, we are looking for an experienced leader who can shape the procurement and supply chain activities to meet the future demands of the business and support the growth agenda.
The successful candidate will work with the board and leadership teams to raise the profile and capability of procurement within the organisation to become a high performing team and a valuable support partner to the business. They will need to implement best class processes and systems, drive cultural change, and ensure the business supports the board's ambitious plans.
We are looking for a goal-orientated, outcome-focused individual who is equally at home leading the function and engaging with stakeholders as they are analysing data and ensuring that no detail is missed. We need someone who is driven, performs well under pressure, likes variety, and can manage ambiguity with a strong and persistent mindset.
As the business grows over the next few years there will be plenty of opportunities to develop and shape your career. The role is paying up to £110,000 with a £6,000 car allowance and a bonus of up to 20% as well as pension and medical benefits.
