Global Indirect Procurement Manager - FTSE100 FMCG - London - £55-65k + Benefits!

This blue-chip FMCG major is looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to join their award-winning procurement function in a brand new role. As an Indirect Procurement Manager you will be working in the global procurement team on £multimillion projects.

This a great opportunity for an established Indirect Procurement Specialist who has experience across all indirect categories including professional services and HR, to take their career up a notch and expose themselves to more complex procurement projects spanning global supplier markets.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual who is eager to progress within a FTSE100 company.

Global Indirect Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally to develop strategic category plans across various indirect categories including but not limited to; Professional Services and HR
• Strategically source new suppliers, managing the full end-to-end tender process to maximise savings and create value within the function
• Liaising with C-suite global stakeholders to effectively sell the value of procurement and increase the value of mandated spend
• Creating and implementing innovative ideas for the long and short-term development of the function

Global Indirect Procurement Manager Requirements:

• Involvement in managing large spends across direct or indirect categories with a proven track record of generating savings and creating value in a function
• Experience strategically sourcing new suppliers and managing the full end-to-end tender process
• Experience drafting and managing contracts with existing and new suppliers is beneficial but not required
• Strong evidence of rapid progression within previous role(s)
• CIPS and Degree qualified (desirable) achieving a 2.1 or equivalent
