SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD

Supply Chain Manager/Lead opportunities (x6) with a high profile and renowned global company. In this role you will have strategic responsibility for a range of global products and device portfolios.

As Supply Chain Lead, working in the Global Supply Team, you will be responsible for the entire supply chain management in your portfolio; and be the primary link to global planning processes, representing the external nodes of each function in the global supply chain. The role also provides the primary link to business development teams and activities.

You will be responsible for both contributing and securely managing short-term and long-term plans (3+ years) within the framework of the business’ global product/device plan; and you will be partnering with Global Planning, Global Supply and Strategy Directors, driving strategic discussions and decisions on behalf of the external global sourcing team.

This is a critical role where you will take leadership of a multicultural, global cross functional brand team, with accountability for overall performance within the boundaries of your supply chain.

There are 6 Supply Chain Lead roles available, initially on a 12-month INTERIM contract basis, these are interesting and critical roles within a high profile global organisation. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the supply product from external suppliers that deliver set customer service and inventory targets
• Deliver continuous improvement and innovation of specified supply chains
• Issue management, dispute resolution and development /execution of options to relieve demand and capacity imbalances
• Partnering with the Global Category Manager delivering cost savings and value creating opportunities
• Performance and ownership of complete supply chain risk
• Accountable for lifecycle management, range management and product launches of specified portfolios

Essential Skills: 

• Substantial Supply Chain and General Operations experience
• Experience of managing and developing   solutions for supply chain event
• Excellent communications and collaboration skills required to manage a multitude of customers and stakeholders, both internal and external
• Collaborative approach across key interfaces with end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing and commercial functions

Desirable skills:

• SAP
• Experience in leading cross cultural, global and cross functional teams
• Proficient use of key Lean Tools, VSM, PPS
• Advanced Supply Chain Management (capacity and inventory) planning skills
• A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential.
