A large affordable housing and public sector building specialist contractor require a Contracts Manager (Housing) to join there expanding organisation to provide a professional repairs & maintenance service.

The company who works on both domestic affordable Housing and large Corporate properties, require a qualified Contracts Manager (Housing) to deliver work to its external Housing Association clients.

You will be responsible for managing Housing Association contracts in and around the Bristol area, reporting to the Operations Manager, delivering several workstreams including Repairs, Maintenance and Planned works. You will deliver excellent operational performance to drive high customer satisfaction levels, all in line with budget. You will be expected to maintain and build strong client relationships both directly and through the contract teams

Responsibilities include ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance and meeting operational KPIs and commercial targets.

Essential Candidate Requirements

* Extensive experience of leading and delivering planned maintenance contracts within the Social Housing sector

* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages

* Excellent knowledge of planned works/project works

* Knowledge of Social Housing/Commercial/Projects/Insurance works

* Understanding of how to maximise productivity and how to measure and improve

* Experience of delivering TBT and Team Talks

* Excellent written and oral presentation

* Good understanding of H&S legislation

* Experience in producing and presenting high quality communications and reports to stakeholders including staff, senior managers, client, service heads, contractors, and other departments

* Awareness and ability to implement/deliver under CDM

* Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling

* Able to deliver to deadlines and performance targets and understanding of KPI’s

* Experience in building and leading teams

* SMSTS/IOSH, first aid, Scaffold awareness and inspection, Asbestos awareness, CSCS supervisor (where required)
