My client are seeking a Operational Excellence Manager to join a large scale food manufacturing business that supply into major retailer and food service. Ideally, I would be looking for someone that has experience in a FMCG/Food background.
The position:
Task:
Assist site management with benefit-justified improvement initiatives/projects to track and report benefits of delivered projects focussed on improvement of the bakery efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues, and material flow/waste.
Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change.
Lead or participate in projects to implement the necessary changes to deliver growth or improvement identified through strategic operational initiatives.
Help Operational Management to utilise appropriate process methodologies, ensuring processes are designed to be fit for purpose with minimal failure points.
Carry out advanced data collection, performance indicators and analysis reports for process mapping, adherence/development of budgets and cost analysis.
Work with designated colleagues from across the business to ensure we underpin business process integrity through the development and management of auditable operational controls, including the identification and delivery of any automation of systems/processes.
Co-ordinate relevant lessons learned and best practice activities between teams and the supporting functions.

£40,000-£50,000
Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
