We are partnering with a leading global services organisation, who is looking for an experienced procurement professional to come in and drive the value, visibility and efficiency of procurement across the business. The position will cover all spend across Directs and Indirects, and partnering with the procurement lead, will drive effective sourcing solutions across this multi-site organisation.

This is a challenging position, given the broad nature of the stakeholder groups, to engage and educate the business in terms of the value and impact procurement can have within the business. Effective communication and relationship building skills are therefore a must have to succeed in this role.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Delivering value for money through the design and implementation of effective procurement practices and multi-site operation.

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned to business needs across indirect and direct categories.

• Develop a network of supplier relationships that deliver value in service, quality and cost.

• Provide and demonstrate high level procurement and category expertise to drive group sourcing.

• Identify, develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels.

Skills/Experience:

• Track record of developing stakeholder relationships.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• The ability to understand, review and recommend reporting and system operation improvements.

• Excellent knowledge of digital applications within purchasing and finance.

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

• CIPS qualification is beneficial for this role but is not essential.
