*Head of Commercial Contracts – Primary Care Technology*

Band 8c - £70,126 - £81,030  (which includes a 10% Recruitment & Retention Premium)

In this role you will be responsible for the commercial performance of a portfolio of complex and high value contracts in the Primary Care Technology area.  You will work closely with the Director of Primary Care Technology and their lead team to ensure supplier performance and drive value for money decisions, develop contract management strategies and provide guidance and advice on a wide range of contractual matters. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the technology sector and working in a complex commercial environment.  They will be expected to work towards gaining accreditation at the Government Commercial Function Assessment and Development Centre (ADC).

As a Head of Commercial Contracts you will:

• Deliver supplier and contract management across the full contract lifecycle to ensure delivery of supplier performance and value for money
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted commercial advisor providing comprehensive contractual guidance to the Primary Care Technology leadership team drawing out key risks and compliance issues
• Manage a team of experienced contract managers
• Support commercial colleagues with delivering the overall team ambition and objectives
• Deliver cashable savings and other financial/non-financial benefits
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior members of the team
• Develop commercial understanding and competence across the Primary Care Technology area
