Costa Coffee – FM & RM Procurement Manager

The Facilities Management (FM) & Repair Maintenance (RM) Procurement Manager is accountable for the end to end procurement of goods and services for Costa within the Facilities Management/Repairs & Maintenance areas. The role reports into the Senior Property Procurement Manager and directly work with the Design, Proposition and Construction Teams supporting the introduction of and embedding professional procurement across the Costa business.

A bit about the role...

Reporting to the Senior Property Procurement Manager, you’ll be responsible for the application of best practice procurement across the breadth & depth of the category including provision of market insight, development of category strategies & associated sourcing plans, tendering, negotiation, and supplier management.  Day to day the role will: 

  • Oversee the development of category strategy and plan for the FM & RM Portfolio
  • Work closely with the wider Procurement team to ensure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles become business as usual practice
  • Fully participate and lead cross functional project works
  • Support tender management, negotiation, and implementation of supplier agreements
  • Development and implementation of appropriate supplier management acting as an escalation point
  • Procurement lead for Capital projects at the Costa Roastery
  • Fully understand and support Costa’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment and Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies
  • Identify opportunities to drive TCO costs without compromising quality and delivery
  • Potential to manage a direct report if we recruit directly into this area in the future.

  • Strong Relationship Building skills – cross functional consensus-based approach

  • Project and Change Management experience
  • Finance understanding.
