One of the global leaders in the marketing services industry is currently growing its global procurement function and is currently looking to hire a new member to join the European Procurement team to lead the CEE Indirect Procurement spend. They are looking for an experienced buyer and procurement manager, who speaks fluent Polish and has a proven background in procurement/purchasing covering indirect including: facilities, fleet, travel, IT, marketing or professional services.

If you have experience in Indirect procurement within a greenfield environment or in a business where procurement is non-mandated then you will be well-suited to this procurement department. As Procurement Manager you will have tremendous opportunities to develop the scope of procurement within the organization and further expand procurement's internal capabilities.

As Procurement Manager your responsibilities will include:-

  • Developing and implementing strategic procurement agreements with key suppliers in line with European procurement strategy
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance in a highly client-facing environment
  • End to end sourcing activity of Indirect procurement categories to deliver maximum value and cost savings to the business
  • Acting as an internal consultant to develop internal stakeholder relationships and expand procurement's reach


Key skills required for the Procurement Manager:-

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing of indirect categories such as facilities, fleet, travel, IT, marketing or professional services
  • Confident working in a non-mandated procurement environment with limited processes and policies
  • Able to develop and implement category management strategy in alignment to European and global strategy
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to develop key business relationships; previous consultancy experience is highly desirable
  • Degree education and fluency in Polish are a pre-requisite
