NOTE: This is a permanent opportunity based in Madrid and will require candidates to be based in Madrid. Remote working is not being considered for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Madrid.

As part of its global procurement and supply chain transformation, this industry leading organization is looking to significantly overhaul its global warehouse strategy and seeking to hire an expert in warehouse optimization to lead this program.

The Global Procurement Manager for Warehouse Operations should come from a supply chain or management consulting background and be a subject matter expert in warehouse management strategy to lead projects in warehouse transformation. Projects will include optimization of warehouse operations, rationalization of global warehouses, and sourcing of new suppliers for 3rd Party Warehousing services.

You will be working with a complex portfolio of over 100 multi-functional warehouses of raw materials and finished good that need significant optimization to maximize value and efficiency to the business.

As the Global Procurement Manager - Warehouse Operations you will be expected to have the following skills:-

• Exceptional transformation and change management experience to implement innovative and disruptive programs to the global portfolio of warehouses
• Highly analytical and commercial acumen to deliver optimal tenders with 3rd party warehouse service providers
• Able to deliver continuous improvement programs to ensure maximum efficiency of all warehouses
• Experience in managing outsourced service providers and transitioning to in-house model to reduce duplication of work
• Expert knowledge of multi-functional warehouses and key global service providers
