Job Details

The Crown Estate are currently recruiting for a Procurement and Contract Manager to join our Procurement Team, supporting our Offshore Wind Evidence and Change Programme (OWEC) on a 12 month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible.

This exciting and unique opportunity will be to lead and support all tender and procurement activity in relation to the Offshore Wind Evidence and Change Programme which will be will be a true collaboration between The Crown Estate and industry leaders to support the UKs full potential for offshore wind projects.

This role will be responsible for the negotiation, award and management of all contracts within the programme and will advise the business & team on all procurement and contract matters, including defining preferred supplier lists, key supplier relationships and undertaking market engagement.

In order to be successful within this role, you must have extensive procurement experience with the responsibility of preparing tender documents and running tender processes from start to finish. Ideally, you will have experience of running the procurement activity for partnership/co-funded projects preferably within the public, offshore or marine sectors.

We are looking for excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully build relationships with our suppliers, business and wider stakeholders, along with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, whilst proactively thinking and planning for the future.
