The Client

Privately owned haulage and transport company, providing national support services in the construction and waste management sectors 

The Role

Reporting to the Transport Manager and planning 15 + vehicles a day, minimise running costs and maximise vehicle revenue

The candidate

• Strong understanding of Driving Hours and Working Time legislation
• Experience of working in a busy transport operation and planning delivery activities, ideally within the construction industry
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Commercial / financial awareness
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
• Team player with strong Interpersonal and people management skills
• Resilience with an ability to keep calm under pressure
• Good time management skills
• Good geographical knowledge
• Customer service focused

The position would suit an ambitious conscientious and driven person and offers excellent promotion opportunities.

Hours of work

07:30-17:30 Monday - Thursday and 07:30-17:00 Friday
One Saturday per month 08:00-12:00
