Supply Chain Manager, Retail Brand, Buckinghamshire - £60k-£70k per annum

Are you looking to move away from the ‘corporate world’ into a fast-paced retail brand which has a family feel to it? Do you want the autonomy of leading the supply chain and procurement activity with a small team to support you? This business has recorded year on year growth with 2020 being one of its best years yet! With a strong leadership team at the helm, they have developed an open, transparent, and collaborative culture within the business. Due to further growth plans, this SME retail business are looking for a new Supply Chain Manager who wants to be part of an exciting and agile business who are market leaders with their interesting and innovative product range.   

What the role involves:

Manage all Supply Chain activity across the business on a global basis spanning a niche volume through to multi-national end users

Develop and implement innovative growth focused commercial strategy, focusing on new products within their existing core market.

Develop & Create relationships with existing/new suppliers whilst having cost and quality at the forefront of your mind

Liaise closely with the customer on their demand schedules and flow these through supply chain

Manage and develop the organisations demand planning system 

Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to maximise each commercial relationship and ensuring high quality and cost savings at the forefront of your decision making.

The person we hope to find:

Significant experience in end to end Supply Chain management (ideally in a retail environment)

Experience in sourcing products on a global basis

You will need to be hands on and able to quickly assess critical issues affecting the supply chain and provide an appropriate management response

Good planning and commercial skills and ability to motivate and influence a team

A real team player who is open, transparent and wants to work collaboratively

Good attention to detail and be prepared to challenge suppliers/ stakeholders when required.

Salary and Benefits:

£60,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits
