We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our multi awarding winning Procurement function as an Assistant Procurement Analyst working on the Coventry Online Goods and Services (COGS) Help Desk. COGS is the Society’s Source to Pay and Contract Management application and an integral part of the Society’s procurement process. This really is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking to expand their skills and knowledge within the society and gain some real procurement experience and insight!

In the role you’ll provide 1st line functional and operational support to the CBS COGS user community and to CBS 3rd party suppliers for the COGS system. You’ll investigate, diagnose and retain ownership of the calls until a resolution is confirmed and support the end-to-end procurement process.

You’ll perform detailed, in depth trend analysis on faults, issues, or problems in order to pro-actively intervene and improve service. In addition you will produce and manage reports for procurement and the wider Society; therefore you will need to be highly analytical with good attention to detail and the ability to design, build and maintain management information reporting. You’ll have excellent problem solving skills with the ability to articulate a plan, develop and execute new working tools, track and measures results.

About You

You’ll have proven experience working within a fast paced customer service environment ideally working on a help desk or similar. The ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels is essential as you will provide support to the wider business. Experience using Microsoft packages, specifically excel is mandatory with experience of P2P or ERP systems being preferred although it is not essential (training will be given).
