Supplier Relationship Manager - Birmingham - £50,000 per annum
A unique opportunity has arisen to join one of UK's leading Infrastructure projects as a Procurement Supplier Relationship Manager managing a portfolio of the most critical suppliers. This is an exciting time to be part of one of the leading projects in the UK and truly be part of the positive legacy that will improve the lives of this and future generations.
The role
Manage the supplier portfolio including analysis, project plans, monthly reporting, forward actions, SRM Tool upkeep etc
Lead meetings workshops and collaborative events required to support delivery and development of SRM
Provide ongoing support in maintaining SRM data and tools
Interface with other governance and assurance, IT and systems related personnel
Support the delivery of training in best practice
support timely and accurate reporting and work with other members of the team
Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion and support the SRM Lead to continuous improvement towards the Supplier Relationship Management strategy
The right person
Good experience of stakeholder and supplier relationship management in both public and private sector
Experience of applying SRM intervention activities
Experience within a procurement, financial or commercial governance structure
Analytical, commercial and negotiation skills
Effective communication skills to include report writing and presenting skills
Stakeholder management skills
Good use of Microsoft applications
Able to manage meeting calendars and coordinate events
Can critically evaluate and adapt to situations
Adapt, develop new theories or methods, recognised as an expert by other senior professionals
