Formed in 2005, this innovative manufacturing organisation are embarking upon unprecedented growth as they continue to develop innovative products within the renewable energy sector.

As the team continue to develop and grow, the organisation has created a new role for a Supply Chain Manager to provide all aspects of procurement & supply chain across the business

As a Supply Chain Manager you will:

• Take a lead on sourcing new suppliers for new product introductions and niche requirements, negotiating the best possible price and organising robust supply chains and delivery
• Managing the existing portfolio of suppliers, the majority of these based in the Far East and Asia, to ensure consistent delivery, contractual compliance, and risk management
• Work alongside technical and design teams to fully understand requirements and relay these to suppliers, managing the full end to end supply chain to ensure products arrive on-time
• Take responsibility for long term planning and forecasting, as well as keeping stakeholders updated on performance and targets

Role requirements:

• Strong background across procurement & supply chain ideally within a manufacturing background
• International purchasing experience, ideally with knowledge of far-east Asian market
• Familiarity with moving goods between UK & EU
• End to end procurement experience from supplier engagement through post contracts management
• Experience in sourcing across far east Asian markets, within mandarin speakers ideal
