Head of Supply Chain

Here at Berkmann Wine Cellars we don’t want our next appointment to be a bit of a lottery, and our Head Office based in Islington N7 has a superb new opportunity for a highly experienced Head of Supply Chain. You will be responsible for all supply chain activities which include; the creation and management of our annual supply chain strategy, full responsibility for stock forecasting, (taking into account seasonal and product variations), minimum and maximum stock level tracking, supplier shipment accuracy, freight forwarding relationships and tenders, product availability, KPI setting and reporting. We also need you to implement a forecasting tool that integrates with Navision by Microsoft Dynamics.

Our supply chain plays an essential part in delivering exceptional customer service and supports our commitment to get our products in the right place at the right time. You will provide management controls through effective planning; organisation and communication, ensuring that all supply chain KPIs are achieved relating to finance, stock levels and service. You must be motivated to deliver results, be passionate about the service and will be expected to take ownership of the development of your team.

You will be working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders so it is essential that you are politically astute with excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills, to allow you to develop contacts and relationships with executive members, external organisations and senior management teams.

You will be detail oriented and analytically focused with the ability to produce clear and concise reports, you will have an inquisitive nature, keen to challenge the norm, and be a team player with a passion to develop yourself and the team around you.

First interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams, with second Interviews at our offices in London N7

We can offer you a competitive salary; £47K+, pension, 25 days annual leave (rising to 26 days after 5 years’ service and 27 days after 10 years’ service) plus bank holidays and discount on a range of our wine
