Job Details
The role is responsible for execution of strategies and buying activities in a specific portfolio. The portfolio currently focusses on Sugars, Starches, Organic Polymers and Cellulose. Individuals from a regulated environment as of interest, including Pharmaceuticals, regulated food production (i.e. baby food) and beauty product manufacturing.
This role is to implement and continually improve Procurement strategies, tools and techniques in order to maximise the company’s results such as top and bottom line growth and net working capital reduction.
Buying activities including tendering portfolio, negotiations with suppliers and recommendation of business allocation.
Accountable for PPV and other financial measures (Squeeze, NWC) generated by indicated portfolio within geographical responsibility.
The role will work in partnership with a highly successful and dynamic business and shape the Procurement strategy of a group of raw materials with close involvement with the Supply function, Regulatory, Research & Development, Finance and Marketing.
