Procurement Specialist - MRO - Business Partnering - FTSE 100 Manufacturing Organisation - Birmingham + Home Working - £35-50k + Bonus

Renowned for driving innovation across all areas of the business, this esteemed Manufacturing organisation seeks an ambitious procurement specialist to enter a business partnering position in their rapidly expanding procurement function.

This market-leading company have had continuous growth over the past few years and their procurement function is currently going through an exciting transformation towards best-in-class! The successful candidate will act as the lynch pin between group procurement and site level teams to implement procurement activity across Mechanical, MRO, Engineering & Manufacturing equipment

Procurement Specialist, role requirements: -

  • Acting as a procurement business partner, you will work closely with category teams to implement global and local procurement strategies with site teams
  • Manage UK supplier base across MRO, Engineering Services and Manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct and implement sourcing activities with the defined governance of the operations team
  • Build strong internal and experience relationships to ensure effect implementation of procurement strategy within a matrix environment

MRO Procurement Specialist, Required background: -

  • Previously category experience in one of the following: MRO, Engineering Services or manufacturing equipment
  • Strong supplier relationship management experience
  • Ambition to create a change and develop in line with a market-leading procurement function
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to improve a procurement function
  • Excellent communication skillset and experience working in a stakeholder management position
  • Degree + CIPS qualified (Beneficial not essential)
