Are you looking for your next challenge in the world of IT procurement?
We are currently looking for an IT Procurement Specialist with experience of working within the Public Sector, to join this market leader due to continued growth.
You will be responsible for end-to-end IT sourcing activity. This includes subcategories such as software, hardware, infrastructure and telecoms. As such, you should have previous IT procurement experience as well as exposure to OJEU/public sector tenders and a willingness to develop into other areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Owning the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for all IT related categories
- Managing key relationships with suppliers
- Delivering cost savings through successful negotiation
- Engaging with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis
Skills and Experience:
- IT procurement category knowledge
- Public sector procurement experience
- Ideally CIPS qualified
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical ability
