Leading professional services organisation is recruiting for a Global HR and professional services Category Manager;  the team is in a very exciting phase of the set-up of this new procurement function.

The brand new role created which will also be supporting the strategy and development of the recently established procurement function. The business is looking to bring in commercially minded professionals to drive the strategic value of end to end category management.

Job Responsibilities;

  • Direct influence over third party spend across the global HR and professional services category.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement and relationships across the Global category stakeholder group to further support the roll-out, communication and education of the new Procurement ways of working.
  • Create category strategy aligned to overall service areas and organisational objectives
  • Lead significant change workstreams with focusing on commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Leverage deep category and market expertise to support in optimising value delivery from the supply base

Skills and experience

  • In depth experience of leading, developing and implementing multi-regional/Global category, sourcing and supplier management strategies and programmes.
  • Significant HR and Professional Services category management experience
  • Experience working within a leading global business.

Preferred

  • Experience within a greenfield/brownfield Procurement environment.
  • Experience within a regulated industry.
