An exciting and varied opportunity for a hands-on Turn-Around / Transformation Consultant, with a proven track record in strategic development and business growth to join a management, technical and training firm specialising in Strategy, end to end Lean Operations, Innovation and R&D. The role requires candidates
with extensive experience within the manufacturing sector who hold the expertise to quickly identify waste, conduct product costing, analyse business ERP / System needs, evaluate human capital and re-engineer entire processes and systems.

The Business Transformation / Change Consultant:

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Lean Practitioner who can lead and take responsibility for a program of work with various key clients. This will include taking full ownership and responsibility for the account and its margins.

To this end you will be responsible for:

+ Supporting the internal sales process.
+ Leading the determination of a strategic journey for the client.
+ Determining the required program of work and associated projects in line with a core strategy.
+ Developing implementation plans and associated budgets
+ Managing a team of consultants with various expertise to deliver the full program of work
+ Maintaining and expanding the account.
+ Supporting the organisation to strategically grow and develop its suite of services.

Qualification and Key Skills requirements:

You will be degree qualified and expected to have a formal “ Lean “ Qualification or equivalent in addition to a management qualification at a diploma level or higher.

Key skills associated with the role include, but not limited to:

+ Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
+ Effective Leadership and motivational skills.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
+ Excellent problem solving capability
+ Good negotiation and influencing skills
+ Good business management and analytical skills
+ Good presentation skills:
+ Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines.
+ Strong strategic and planning skills including the ability to effectively plan and schedule in a multi project/client environment
+ IT literacy, skills in the Microsoft suite of business toolkits and the ability to work with and analyse electronic data

Overall, we expect the chosen individual to be naturally ambitious, energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic. This is a key senior role and as part of the selection process we will look for clarity and confirmation on where you have been successful in a similar role, in delivering significant strategic value and success.
