Procurement Buyers x 2
We are currently looking to recruit two Procurement Buyers to join a newly created procurement team within the Commercial Development / Finance department.
You will play a key role in the start of an organisational transformation by managing all aspects of the PLA supply chain – from placing orders and negotiating with suppliers to completing supplier due diligence through reviews and audits, creating contracts and developing strong relationships with key suppliers (and identified business stakeholders).
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a focus on delivering results. Good communication skills to understand, influence and coordinate internal and external parties are vital to the success of this role.
Ideally, the candidate should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject. 3-5 years’ experience within a procurement role is essential, preferably within the private sector
Other requirements for the role are:
- Good IT skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work at pace within a complex organisation
You should have strengths in problem-solving combined with analytical, communication, time management and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently, instigating and maintaining reporting on progress are also desirable along with ensuring Health and safety processes and compliance are maintained throughout.
