Having recently acquired financial investment from one of the world's leading food companies, our client is now looking to expand its procurement team under its newly appointed, highly experienced Head of Procurement. With a view to revolutionize its industry, this company is looking for likeminded people, who desire to be part of their fast moving, innovative brand.

As the category expert for Indirect Procurement, largely focusing on Marketing and IT categories, you will develop your Indirect Category in this greenfield environment, setting your own strategy early on whilst having a rare opportunity to work closely with an experienced Head of Procurement.

As the Category Expert for Indirect Procurement you will:

• Take the lead in sourcing the highest quality services for marketing techniques and IT services to ensure your category produces tangible, high-flying results.
• Negotiate with suppliers and constantly monitor performance to ensure that continued high levels of service are maintained.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to allow your category to develop and progress at the highest level.

You will have experience in:

• Dealing with end to end indirect procurement processes producing tangible results, ideally with some experience in developing Marketing related categories.
• Savings and improved supplier performance achieved across a range of indirect categories.
• CIPS level 5.
