This prestigious and highly-successful procurement consultancy firm collaborates with several high profile client contacts across the FTSE100 delivering unique expert knowledge to help improve their spend efficiencies and drive profit.
Due to rapid growth, this firm are now moving to increase their operating capacity and are looking to take on a driven and ambitious procurement management consultant professional to join their fast paced and highly sought after team.
The Procurement Management Consultant role will involve:
- Testing your analytical skills on a variety of complex procurement projects, using the latest cutting edge technology and software
- Exposure to some of the most renowned clients on the market, primarily across sectors such as: defence, pharmaceuticals and FMCG
- Conducting thorough research into existing procurement functions, finding and exploiting potential weak points to improve spend efficiency
- Fast paced decision making under pressure, coming up with solutions to complex problems to meet client needs within a limited time frame
Procurement Management Consultant required background:
- Management consultancy experience, having worked on several large-scale procurement projects implementing your new strategies to improve the workplace efficiency, for numerous clients
- Excellent communication skills, from articulating your thoughts and decision making clearly and effectively, to having strong verbal negotiation ability, being able to influence senior stakeholders and clients
- A Proven ability to provide strong and quick decisions under pressure, having an analytical mindset alongside mental fortitude
- Familiar with procurement sectors having good knowledge and experience in categories including but not limited to: IT Procurement, FM Procurement, and Professional Services Procurement
- Degree or equivalent qualification
