Interim Bridge Engineer

Interim Structural Engineer - Bridges £317 per day (Inside)

My client, an exciting local authority undergoing significant regeneration and transformation, are currently recruiting an Interim Structural Engineer to focus on bridges and highways, with both software and on-site responsibilities.

This role is based Bedford, paying up to £317 per day (inside IR35)

Responsibilities;

* Structural analysis, including the use of specialist software, as part of assessment or design schemes
* Site supervision of structures related works, including input into contract management
* Management of the processing of abnormal loads
* Input into the design of bridges and highway structures schemes, including specifications, drawings and cost estimates
* The site work and reporting associated with structures inspections
* Involvement in the management and programming of projects to ensure delivery

My client is looking ideally for someone with prior experience in bridge engineering and with IEng (or equivalent) qualified.
