Senior Supply Chain Manager - New Technology Development - Developing Supply Chain Concept Solutions - Leading Manufacturing Firm - £65k + Package

Rapidly growing global manufacturing giant seeks an experienced procurement expert to lead a brand-new supply chain function as part of their rapid growth and transformation. This role will work to develop supply chains concept solutions for future manufacturing technologies, working collaboratively with category leaders to develop innovative supply chain strategy. You work to drive Supply Chain activite for New Product introduction from idea generation through prototype and testing phase to mass production and negotation strategy.

Senior Procurement Manager - New Technology Development you will:

• Determine and establish supply chain concept solutions new manufacturing technologies, working collaboratively with stakeholder groups across engineering, NPI and Supply Chain
• Form part of the Supply Chain & Procurement team contributing towards the governance, structure & ethics of this department
• Lead a team of 3 procurement specialists

Required skills for this role:

• Strong procurement and supply chain experience within a blue-chip environment
• Experience within the supply chain development of new technologies, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Management
• Excellent communication skills with the gravitas and confidence to lead on large negotiations and scope strategies
• Degree and MCIPS preferred
