Strategic Sourcing Buyer - Prestigious Hospitality Brand- £30-40k - Surrey/London - Excellent Progression Opportunities

A leading name in the FMCG space has an opening for a bright, ambitious Procurement professional to join their best-in-class team and enter a developmental role with clear progression into Category Management in 12 months. Operating out of their global HQ, the successful candidate will be joining the firm's award-winning commercial team working across various areas of the business whilst taking advantage of the firm's fantastic support structure and working with several senior managers to maximise future promotional opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience effectively managing a range of indirect categories with a track record of generating savings and improving value in a strategic manner as this role will have direct mentorship of more junior members of the team, offering a great opportunity to attain and develop line management responsibilities for future roles.
Key Requirements:

• Proven track record of managing indirect category spends, with evidence of strategic and tangible cost savings
• Previous experience working in a blue chip environment, ideally across the financial sector
• Confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders and managing directors
• Thrive in a vibrant working environment, relishing the opportunities of working in a close-knit procurement function
• Degree educated (or equivalent), CIPS preferred
