Planning & Performance Procurement Manager - Global FTSE 250 - Manufacturing £60k + Comprehensive Benefits Package - Surrey

Are you a passionate and experienced Procurement professional looking for a FTSE 250 SRM & Procurement Process improvement opportunity? If so, this globally revered Technology firm is offering you the chance to play the pivotal part in driving their newly created SRM function towards best-in-class.

As Planning & Performance Procurement Manager you will: -

  • As part of a newly created SRM & Performance improvement function within procurement, you will create a consistent vendor management approach across the supplier landscape, thus fostering increased value from the sourcing relationships for both the firm and its vendors
  • Work closely with market-leading suppliers to ensure adoption of best practice through process analysis of both external and internal markets
  • Implement standardised performance management tools e.g. Ariba, to monitor supplier performance
  • Facilitate, organise and chair Supplier review meetings on a monthly or quarterly basis as appropriate ensuring key relationship stakeholders attend
  • Lead and unify cross functional teams through strategic sourcing processes
  • Drive the concept of 'continuous improvement'with strategic suppliers

Required skills & experience: -

  • Strong track record of managing supplier contracts and procurement projects
  • Gravitas and flair for engaging with senior stakeholders
  • History of rapid progression within your SRM & Procurement career to date
  • Understanding of contract law and contract management.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement with suppliers and possess the desire to constantly learn from external best practice.
  • Degree from a leading university (or equivalent)
