Quality Assurance Director - Global Leading FMCG - £140-180k + Excellent package - London

This market leading and highly innovative FMCG major is looking to bring on board an agile senior director to lead the group through a period of restructure, taking full ownership of supplier quality and assurance in key commodity categories, including raw materials.

Sitting as part of the senior leadership structure, this position will take on a team of 30 high calibre and experienced individuals, targeted on implementing immediate change across the team and supplier base. As a director joining this organisation during a period of change, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual, able to work at pace and in a high-pressure environment to carve out real stakeholder relationships at exec level and progress rapidly in this meritocratic environment.

Senior Procurement Assurance Director role outline:

• Leadership of SQA function, covering raw materials & packaging categories, targeted with driving the performance of this 30+ team forward
• Supplier Quality Management & Assurance - ensuring rigorous process and sourcing strategies are in place, specifically across 'high-risk' raw materials such as diary & coco
• Taking a key leadership role within this group, managing and reviewing a team of 30+ with 5 direct reports
• Business Growth Activities - Support the development and implementation of new raw materials in response to constant innovation

Experience Required:

• Excellent and high-level Supplier Quality Assurance, specifically within an FMCG, Manufacturing or Consumer organisation, with understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work at pace, with the experience of delivering and implementing new strategies to a group immediately
• Experience of and the ability to demonstrate influencing key group stakeholders, to align the wider business with key transformation processes and able to communicate these values effectively
• Degree, MBA & MCIPS preferred
