Assistant Buyer - Electrical

POST recruitment are recruiting an assistant buyer for an established ecom retailer based on the outskirts of Bradford.
The position has arisen due to the expanding demand and growth within the buying team.
Duties to include;

The initial focus will be within the electrical team, identifying trends and gaps within the current portfolio and engaging with suppliers, responsible for the end to end product set up, through to go live and trading

Creating line level produc

t forecasts and order requirements in response to performance and stock holding to maximise both availability and stock efficiency

Manage stock through critical path management, progression and replenishment whilst identifying where price/promotional activity is required

Act on pricing tools to find matches and make pricing recommendations

May own a supplier, or product attribute, from range building, through forecasting, trading and promo activity

May be involved in sourcing new suppliers or brands
