Band 8a Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join this growing public sector procurement team in Central London.

The position has a fairly broad remit, covering full end-to-end procurement, souricing and tendering across Professional Services, Estates, FM, IT plus some other more niche categories.

The wider organisation is undergoing a significant transformation at the moment which is being led by Procurement so there will be a lot of additional strategic elements to the role outside the category management responsibility. We're looking for someone who is career driven, has a real passion for procurement and will be able to work closely with the Head of Procurement in delivering on some large projects over the coming months. You will have a detailed understanding of procurement procedures, including EU tendering, and proven experience of delivering savings and managing collaborative relationships with strategic procurement partners and key suppliers.
