Buyer

Butler Ross are working closely with a well-established company located on the outskirts of Southampton who are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Buyer to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

Main responsibilities of the Buyer

Sourcing and purchasing all goods and materials
Liaising with the management team with regards to purchases and scheduling
Researching and negotiating best prices, cost savings, and agreeing contracted prices with key suppliers
Identify and approach new and existing suppliers to improve the current supply chain where appropriate
Identify and resolve invoice queries and approving all invoices against the orders - liaising with the finance team
Maintain and update the system database

Skills & Experience required of the Buyer:

Experienced and competent Buyer
Experience negotiating best price and cost savings
A self-motivated and proactive individual with good organisational skills

Location: Southampton

Salary: £30,000pa Circa

Job type: Permanent

This position would suit someone with experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Senior Buyer, Junior Buyer, Procurement Manager
