Purchasing, Warehouse and Distribution
Based: Dudley
The Role
Your key task in this newly created and hands on role, will be to develop and execute a number of supply chain improvement projects to drive efficiencies across the end to end supply chain. Managing a Planning, Purchasing and Warehouse team and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving improvements across supplier OTD, customer OTIF, logistics, warehouse efficiency, materials feed and inventory levels and MRP accuracy.
The Person
A Supply Chain professional with excellent end-to-end supply chain experience within a purchasing warehouse, distribution environment, you will have successfully led improvement projects across supply chain and be able to engage cross functional teams. Commercially aware, you will deliver results through engaging with teams to implement and improve innovative supply chain processes and controls that create lean, responsive, and predictive operations.
You will have an in-depth understanding of MRP, Excel Microsoft packages and be highly numeric and data driven. You must also be able and willing to travel. Exposure to automotive, aerospace or pharmaceutical would be ideal but not essential.
