Lead Procurement Specialist - Global FTSE 100 - Central London - £30,000-£40,000 + Package
This aggressively growing market leading ?brand is pumping investment into Technology to enable their global procurement organisation to deliver improved savings and a world class service both internally and to clients. As part of this, the business has created a new role within a highly skilled project team responsible for implementing advanced analytics, contract and supplier management tools.
As Lead Analyst you will benefit from a personally tailored development plan to bolster your Analytical experience before being parachuted into key client project teams to ensure:
- Directors are using live, accurate and global spend data to build key strategies
- Strategic procurement projects are planned, costed, executed and tracked effectively
- Contracts are created, negotiated and stored in line with procurement policy
- P2P transactions are linked to contracts ensuring compliance
- Data performance and risk is managed
Lead Procurement Analyst role profile:
- Managing, promoting, supporting and running analytics across multiple global projects to ensure you approaches the market in the right way, using the right tools and technology
- Assisting in the continuous improvement, implementation and alignment of technology, processes and relevant documentation
- Providing analytical support throughout the sourcing & contract lifecycle, improving quality, efficiency and results
- Advising senior stakeholders up to VP & Global Director level on sourcing and analytical processes
- Leveraging offshore support to build and run complex, high value events
Required experience:
- Strong analytical experience, with previous usage or management of sourcing technology preferred & familiarity with procurement projects
- Strong technical problem solving and analytical mind-set - strong experience with Excel, SQL, Access, VBA preferred but not essential
- Degree, CIPS qualifications preferred not essential
