We are looking for a dynamic Quality Operations Manager to lead on the development and implementation of quality procedures and to drive a continuous improvement culture across multiple manufacturing sites. Working with the Regional Directors, this role will be focused on developing Quality Improvement Plans and measurable KPI’s that structure the Business Units to align with industry standards. This role would be suited to candidates with experience of SME business’s and multi-site operations and to persons that can adapt to changing business priorities whilst maintaining a positive quality culture and brand across the business.

This position can either be based at our Ellesmere Port, Peterborough or York Site.

Job Summary

Identify quality champions on site and actively participate in employee quality training, documentation and internal auditing to satisfy compliance across all business units

Drive a continuous Improvement Culture, addressing route cause analysis, NCR’s, targeting identification, implementation and rectification of all corrective preventative actions

Develop and implement quality procedures on site, working with site managers to review and check compliance against the ISO9001 standard

Drive site compliance with non-conformance reporting and develop internal processes to proactively identify opportunities for improvement

Create an internal audit programme that fits across all business units and supports an integrated approach across all compliance functions

Work alongside compliance functions to support on the integration of all compliance systems

Mentoring operational management and employees to increase site accountability of management systems and associated tasks

Work with the environmental team to develop a process to continually reduce our environmental impacts across the business unites

Identify opportunities to develop the environmental management system requirements

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working with ISO certified systems

Experience working remotely and engaging with key stakeholders to coordinate change initiatives and drive improvements across the business unites

Ability to inspire, motivate and create a positive culture by leading through a hands-on approach

Experienced with implementing quality training plans and delivering training sessions to support a right first time culture

Good eye for detail being able to identify opportunities for improvements through a managed internal non-conformance process and provide detailed analysis of trends through structured reporting systems

Well planned, organised and methodical in their approach to managing change and a leader of change management

Must be flexible to regular business travel and permitted to work in the UK

Desirable:

Develop a process to continually reduce our Environmental impacts across all departments within the business

Experience working with multi-site accredited businesses

Lead Auditor Certified

HSE/14001 understanding

Creation of work instructions

Lean principles and understanding

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

Management: 1 year (Preferred)
