Management Accountant - Logistics

We are working with a leading Logistics Business who are looking to hire a Qualified Management Accountant to support and strengthen our existing Operations Finance Team, based on site in Chester. This is a fast-paced, vibrant and exciting team, which requires someone with enthusiasm and tenacity, coupled with exceptional attention to detail. Applicants should be able to demonstrate solid practical experience within the logistics industry, and really require someone with the tenacity and energy to want to grow personally, whilst also achieving in a highly date driven role. Previous accountancy experience within a fast paced logistics sector is really advantageous!

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Accounts preparations
* Preparing reports, budgets and Financial Statements
* Developing and managing financial systems/policies
* Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
* Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value
* BOM analysis
* Forecasting
* Preparation and distribution of all daily and weekly reporting
* Daily KPI reports
* You will require solid MS Excel experience, as the role includes vast reporting and data manipulation
* Assistance with compliance
* Liaison with Stakeholders throughout the business and wider group

Key Skills / Experience :
* Applicants should be fully qualified - CIMA or ACCA
* Applicants should be able to demonstrate solid MS Excel skills
* Previous experience within a logistics environment
