Our client is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team on a Permanent basis, after successfully passing an 8-week probation period.

Daily tasks will include:

Processing customer orders and then picking the products
Preparing, packing and dispatching orders
Following up on customer tracking queries including some email and phone contact
Liaising with our shipping partners and carriers
Assisting with the management of stock
Directly responsible for the weekly dispatching of return packs and repairs
Supporting on all additional tasks as required by the team/team managerSkills

Good IT Skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
A keen eye for detail and presentation
Good personal communication skills
Friendly and energetic manner
Self-motivated work ethic
Good team workerPrevious experience in working in a logistic function is essential and past knowledge/experience in customer service is advantageous but not essential. Training can be given on the job in the specifics of the role.

Monday to Friday, hours are 9.00 - 17.15

Some Saturday work may take place in peak months of November, December & January. We ask for two Saturdays per calendar month.
