Ours is a very simple business imperative: our entire offer is around a single technician walking into the war-zone of a kitchen to face equipment he or she may never have seen before – and walking out with everyone smiling.
We are a dynamic, forward thinking SME that has grown 28% year on year for the last decade. And there’s more to come! We intend to double in size over the next three years – we’re now at 150 heads in the UK with £14M turnover – aiming for 400 in the next 7 years!
We are looking for someone with drive and ambition to take us on this exciting ride – someone who mixes a pragmatic, grounded approach and sound judgement with innovation and flair. An individual with presence, with initiative, who has the ability to assess and prioritise, who focuses on actions not meetings – relentless forward motion.
We maintain and service the kitchens of high quality customers across the UK and in the Middle East; we pride ourselves on being a quality act. We succeed because we build our strength round our people.
What you’ll need to do
- Develop the field service team – technically sure (we’ve the only team of EngTechs in our industry) but, critically, as all-round business ambassadors
- Grow our office support team – the hub of our business
- Alongside the Business Improvement Team, harness systems and tech to facilitate and speed up processes (cutting edge AR is part of our 2019/2020 agenda)
- Manage procurement – from vans to van stocks & the logistics of matching parts/tech/customer
- Support the international growth of the business
What you’ll need to show
- Evidence of ambition and success
- Knowledge of how SME's work
- How to make teams perform through inspirational leadership
- A lively view of our future
- Previous successes in driving change
- A readiness to 'get your hands dirty in the engine room'
What you’ll get in return
- An opportunity to really impact and make a difference
- Join a share option scheme as a senior executive and have a real stake in the business
- Help create an award-winning, standard-setting, unique multinational business
- A competitive package
“We’re looking for someone who can combine outstanding team management with initiative, creative thinking and drive – we aim to set the standard in our industry – we need the leader for this team.” Chris Craggs, CEO
