JOB TITLE: Senior Logistics Operative
POSITION: Contract - Immediate Sick Cover
DURATION: 6 Months
LOCATION: Davyhulme WwTW
SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: Negotiable
WORK PATTERN: Monday-Friday variable hours between 20 and 37 per week (Schedule agreed in advance) / three weekly Saturday working, as required
I am actively recruiting on behalf of my Client who works closely with United Utilities and provides services across a number of their sites.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE
Working in a gate house
Ability to work alone for periods of time with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
Excellent communication skills
Good organisational skills
Educated to degree level in Chemistry/Science preferred
THE JOB ROLE
Sign in and out all tanker drivers in a very busy tanker reception
Ensure all tanker drivers are parked appropriately on site and are briefed on the health and safety requirements for the site and the area
Oversee the sampling of tankers arriving at site
Clean down / wash down of the sample areas, as required
Work as a third person in a shift pattern with United Utilities Waste Controllers
Operation & Maintenance (first call) of the Bioprocessing assets at Davyhulme WwTW
Control of day to day Health & Safety issues around all Bioprocessing assets
Ensure professionally high standard of functionality of all bioprocessing assets at Davyhulme through good housekeeping, maintenance and diligence.
Take day to day 'ownership' of Bioprocessing assets, ensuring that faults are quickly remedied through raising job notes on the company's maintenance system.
Any other duty required to be carried out in line with the individual's competence and experience
