My client is an established and growing business with subsidiaries across Europe and other strategically placed locations across the globe. They have a new permanent requirement in their Customer Service team at their Redditch site for a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator.

Reporting into the Customer Service Manager, the key tasks will be to:

  • Effectively coordinate and manage all incoming orders.
  • Process orders via the system and handle all relevant paperwork.
  • Coordinate with all global intercompany sites for dropship orders.
  • Effectively coordinate with global operations teams to help manage production scheduling.
  • Process orders via the system and handle all relevant paperwork.
  • Liaising with global sales and operations teams to provide freight quotes for all customers.
  • Working with global and domestic freight forwarders to obtain quotes.
  • Managing logistics costs and reviewing service options.
  • Arranging internal stock transfers between the UK & France.
  • Obtaining POD’s for all shipments for review of OTIF.
  • Manage all sample requests sent from UK.

Candidates that apply should have previous office experience, ideally in a Customer Service or Logistics environment. You must have strong communication skills, both verbally and written, have good attention to detail and be able to prioritise in a busy working environment.
