Job Title: Logistics and Order Processing Coordinator
Location: North Cambridge
Hours: 30 per week
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Cambridge business that has seen tremendous growth over the past few years and who are currently looking for a Logistics and Order Processing Coordinator. the successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming customer orders, co-ordinating with suppliers and colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of supplied goods to our customers throughout the countries we cover.
About the role:
• Entering systems orders through Xero
• Placing orders on suppliers for the goods
• Arranging and tracking deliveries
• Invoicing customers
• Liaise with Service Manager
• Ensure correct shipment and tariff codes are used
• Prepare VAT statement
• Being the first point of contact for all shipment enquiries
• Completing new supplier forms in timely manner
• Organise shipments
About you:
• Excellent attention to details
• Organized, methodical approach to working
• An understanding of finance, VAT would be desirable but not essential
• Someone who is able to think outside the box' and also come with positive solutions
• Good Microsoft package knowledge
• Previous experience of using Xero (System) would be advantageous but not essential
• Proven ability to plan, manage and execute multiple tasks and projects.
