You will be working for a world leading international specialist manufacturer who are currently growing and looking to add a Category Manager into their Global Direct Procurement team.

Your new role

As Category Manager you will be responsible for developing the global strategic sourcing plan for your specific category focus. You will engage with key stakeholders across the business and develop relationships internally. You will also play a key role is management of a key supplier base along with strategically sourcing for new suppliers across your area. The role will involve managing multiple projects and ensure continuous improvement within your category areas.

What you'll need to succeed

You will require experience working with direct procurement categories and have a strong understanding of complex sourcing strategies. You will be able to pro-actively identify issues and provide solutions to improve processes. You will be a strong character who can build relationships as well as manage multiple large scale projects.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive package of £50,000 - £60,000 per year + Car Allowance, private health care and competitive pension.
