Job Title: Demand Planner
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Location: Hull

OVERVIEW:
Edwards & Pearce are looking to recruit an experienced Demand Planner to build a robust demand plan for ensuring that full availability is maintained on stock to maximise sales.

The Main Duties of the Demand Planner will include but not be limited to:
*Ensure high levels of planning accuracy by monitoring stock levels and producing accurate reports on shortages and availability
*Build relationships with suppliers and liaise with them to ensure the timely delivery of stock
*Analyse data and reports to produce accurate stock order sheets and work closely with the purchasing departments to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained
*Ensure all stock monitoring systems are updated
*Liaise with various internal departments to ensure forecasts are accurate and maximum sales are achieved.
*Create a monthly cycle checklist to ensure focus areas are covered, and document all key forecasting assumptions.
*Manage the supply in on a timely and cost effective basis negotiating the best supply plan solutions to meet demand, stock and sales targets.

The Demand Planner with have the following attributes:
*Strong Demand Planning experience
*Previous experience working within a stock planning/analyst role
*Good organisation skills, able to priortise and work effectively to deadlines within a sometimes pressurised environment
*Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority as well as liaise effectively with other departments
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
*A flexible and 'can do' working style
*Degree in supply chain or similar preferred but not essential
*FMCG or manufacturing experience would be an advantage
*Other supply chain planning and logistics experience
