Global consulting firm are currently looking for a Senior Manager for their Operations and Resource Management team for an initial 18-month contract.
This position is to start as soon as possible and will report directly in to the Operations Director and Partner for their Financial Services division. The role will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.
This position is a strategic lead and will focus on talent development, headcount and capacity management, providing insight to utilisation of consultants and preparing, and presenting, Management Information to senior management.
Candidates must have resource management specifically around deployment of resources to demand, and forecasting demand vs supply.
This role will pay £80k and £90k plus comprehensive benefits and lots of room for progression and development.
The responsibilities include:
- Maintain an overview of the utilisation of consultants across the group and ensure team all resource requests are met across by the team and that resources are deployed effectively, pro-actively resolving areas of shortage or clashing requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets with Finance and act as a business advisor to leadership including monitoring performance against plan, identifying issues and making recommendations for change
- Responsible for production of monthly reporting pack including all Headcount / Resource management MI
- Manage, motivate and develop a team of five
- Drive performance and efficiency across the largest division of this global business.
Candidates must have/be:
- In-depth experience of resource management specifically around deployment of resources to demand, and forecasting demand vs supply.
- The ability to partner, influence and drive performance
- Experience of producing in-depth Management Information related to Resource Management / Forecast demand vs Supply
- Prior experience in Professional Services or Financial Services would be beneficial
This role is initially a long-term contract but there is a very strong opportunity for this to develop in to a permanent role.
