Primestaff are working with our well-established client to recruit an experienced Administrator to work within their planning and purchasing department based near to Scunthorpe. Previous experience in administration is essential although this is more of a trainee position and for the right candidate will become a key part of the department with progression within the business.

Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate:

* To work to high levels of accuracy always.

* To ensure you have clear and precise written operating procedures for the tasks you do for colleagues covering your role in your absence.

* To undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function equal with the level of

* Responsibility for the post as directed by your direct line manager.

* To actively analyse stock holdings, re-order raw materials and packaging and ensure we neither run out of items.

* To inform SMT of any potential price increases/decreases.

* To set up and run necessary reports for stock reconciliation.

* Run delivery reports from Sage and keep Supply Chain fully informed of future deliveries.

* Issue Stock Sheets.

* Support the Controller in the preparation of the production plan

Skills and experience required:

* Must have English and Mathematics GCSE level A-C or equivalent

* Previous Administration or business experience would be an advantage

* Must be able to drive due to location

* Must have excellent MS Office skills including Office, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Hours: Normal working hours are 8.30am – 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. However, given the nature of the role, we ask for flexibility with occasional early starts, late finishes and rarely weekend or Bank Holiday attendance may be required.
