Procurement Manager

This hugely innovative and expanding technology company requires a Generalist Procurement Manager to work on exciting projects involving state of the art technology. The company is going through a huge period of growth working on infrastructure projects affecting millions of homes across the country. This role will involve maintaining an efficient procurement function whilst delivering value for money for consumers and engaging with key stakeholders including huge telecommunication and technology suppliers.

Procurement Manager Role:

• Take a lead on delivering complex procurement projects across several categories including IT, telecomms, professional services and HR.
• Establishing and managing supplier relationships, including auditing suppliers and working alongside other teams on the development of contracts and pricing mechanisms.
• Working and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent service levels and the development of strategy, whilst also engaging with key external stakeholders including political authorities.
• Effectively conducting cost analyses for suppliers, depending on internal demand, and identifying the best processes that align with product demand.

Procurement Manager Requirements and Experience:

• Proven track record in working with end to end procurement, including managing supplier contracts, negotiations, leading projects and delivering value for money. Preferably in an IT, professional service and/or HR procurement function.
• Experience in energy, telecomms and/or regulated sectors is desirable.
• Strong academic record ideally including a Degree and CIPS certification (desirable)

• Experience working in a large organisation/company particularly in the technology sector on crucial procurement projects
• British or EU passport or holding a visa allowing you to live and work in the UK without any sponsorship
