Project Manager - Procurement & Supply Chain

A great opportunity for a Project Manager with a Purchasing/Supply Chain background to thrive within this highly successful food business.

THE PROJECT MANAGER role
Will involve working within cross-functional team of sales channel-focused individuals to deliver business projects on time and in full. Key responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with Buying, Technical team and designated sales channel to quickly and successfully launch exciting new products
• Manage project progression giving timely progress updates
• Manage risks highlighting and escalating blockages as necessary to avoid delay / issues
  
  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The candidate will need to have experience in a previous Supply Chain position within a food business, combined with Project Management experience. Candidates will need:

• Project management experience, with a track record of successful project execution against tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of international supply practices / constraints etc.
• Recognised Procurement, Supply Chain and / or Project Management qualifications
• Knowledge of the UK food industry
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
